TKEY – The Temple Wallet Token

by Nikolay Beliavskyi

Temple Wallet Token (TKEY) is the native token for Temple Wallet, which was created to develop wallet and incentive users for various actions within wallet functionality.

What Is TKEY Used For?

We launched TKEY to make Temple Wallet reach a new level of development and adoption. It carries benefits for both users and the team. The first significant improvement for which TKEY is used is a cashback on swaps. From now, users receive 0.175% of the swapped amount in the TKEY token as a cashback.

TKEY Tokenomics

The total distribution of TKEY is 14.000.000 tokens. Tokens were minted immediately. There are no plans or possibilities to increase their emission in the future. All the TKEY tokens were distributed among four contracts according to purpose.

The tokens are allocated as follows:

  • 10.000.000 TKEY to the initial liquidity pool on QuipuSwap in pair with 10000 wTEZ;
  • 2.000.000 TKEY for developers’ rewards;
  • 1.000.000 TKEY for future investors;
  • 1.000.000 TKEY for future community incentives.

You can trade TKEY on 3Route using this link or add liquidity using this pool.

LP shares of the initially provided liquidity will be locked on a smart contract, allowing us only to withdraw the rewards fee in wTEZ without the possibility of removing this liquidity. Fee rewards received in the TKEY token will be burned, while fee rewards in wTEZ will be used for buyback and burn TKEY.

Plans for the future

We plan to use TKEY to reward users who support Temple watching in-app advertisements in the future. In the beginning, AD viewing is rewarded in USDt as Proof-of-Concept.

After some time, we will create more mechanics for Temple token holders.

*Temple Wallet is a non-custodial browser extension and mobile wallet for cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the Tezos blockchain from MadFish. TKEY was developed to provide value to Temple Wallet users.
